PROXMOX : Installation de MacOS pour test en mode VM.

Mon installation :

OS : Debian GNU/Linux 12 (bookworm)
Proxmox : 8.1.3 .
Kernel : Linux 6.5.11-4-pve #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC PMX 6.5.11-4 (2023-11-20T10:19Z) x86_64 GNU/Linux

La version que je vise :

MacOS Ventura 13.6.3 avec 8 vCPU et 16 Go de RAM. Le vrai test sera de supporter le logiciel RubiTrack qui est assez gourmand.

Script de création automatiquement d'une machine virtuelle de MacOS pour VirtualBox : Echec pour moi !

J’ai donc testé le script suivant : https://github.com/myspaghetti/macos-guest-virtualbox : macos-guest-virtualbox . Le but du script est de faire une machine Virtuel sous Ubuntu. A noter que le déroulement du script est très long, je pense qu’il faut compter 4 heures.

Voici tous le process d’installation :

Il est impératif d’avoir une version de virtualbox > 6.1. Par défaut sur Ubuntu on a la version 5.0 …

MacOS : Une mauvaise gestion des fichiers temporaires ... ( /var/private/folder/ App Store )

Il suffit de faire la commande suivante pour s’en rendre compte :

On se retrouve avec 124 Go de fichiers temporaires ?! Le diagnostic est le même avec : OmniDiskSweeper ( https://www.omnigroup.com/more/ )

Pourquoi dans Gestion de Stockage on ne parle pas des fichiers temporaires de l’App Store ?

Petit bilan sur mon MacBook Pro (15 pouces, mi-2012) donc l’écran est H.S. Ce post est surtout pour réfléchir à haute voix sur mon prochain portable.

Voici le cout de mon MacBook Pro :

Juillet 2012 : Achat à 1979 Euros.
Février 2018 : Ajout de 8 Go de RAM (Barrette RAM DDR3 PC3-12800 Sodimm 8Go), et changement du disque par un disque de 1 To en SSD (Crucial - SSD MX300 SATA 2.5’ - 1050Go) : 750 Euros.
- 180 Euros pour 8 Go de RAM
- 380 Euros pour le disque SSD.
- 110 Euros pour le transfert des données. (Que j’aurai pu faire, surtout que c’était mal fait)
- 80 Euros pour les deux heures de mains d’oeuvre. (que j’aurais aussi pu faire).
Total : 2729 Euros pour 7 ans et 4 mois, on va dire 30 Euros/mois.

Pour la réparation de l’écran on me demande 900 Euros pour un neuf et 400 Euros pour un écran d’occasion. Mettre 400 Euros me semble risqué et 900 Euros dans un ordinateur qui a plus de 7 ans, c’est simplement pas sérieux.

Après une petite recherche sur google : https://discussions.apple.com/thread/7552801 .

Je n’ai pas réussi à trouver quel était le fichier de configuration avec le nom de domaine dans les fichier .plist de Library.

Normalement je devrait avoir une fichier : ~/Library/LaunchAgents/com.onlineapplicationrequest.* … Peut-être que Lulu a supprimé le fichier.

Je viens de faire la migration en High Sierra ( 10.13.2 (17C88) sachant que j’avais la 10.11.6 ), le temps annoncé devait être de 46 min, finalement cela a durée 8572.8 seconds d’après MacOS (3h00). Alors que le temps a été bien plus long … 9h40. Pas grand chose dans /var/log/install.log .
